Our New Home! :)

YES! We are now homeowners! As I stated in my previous blog post we bought a house! We love our new home and it's even better than we remember it being from our initial walk through of it! So far I love owning my own home and getting to do all kinds of cool, decorative stuff to it.

Our son, also LOVES the new house! Especially the back yard with the swing set and playhouse!

So, here is our new abode! It's a spacious 3-4 bedroom ranch style home with 2 full bathrooms, a finished basement, big garage, and nice fenced in back yard.
Front Entry.
The garage on East side of house with basement entry.

Back yard and deck.

Now, for some indoor pics! Here are are some before and afters!:
Before. The living room was a tan color.

After. Beautiful grey walls!

Before: Kitchen was a dark red, maroon color. It was kind of cute, but I had a other plans;)
Dining area before.
After: Grey back splash and orange (coffee whip) walls! :) I LOVE it! :)
I really like all the appliances that came with the house and I'm SO grateful for a dishwasher!!
Dining Area:)
Decor entering the hallway.
Before: Hallway all taped off and ready to be painted.
After: painted grey. :)
Before: Elisha's room. We had just started scraping the old border off.
After: Border gone, sports theme gone. Taupe-y grey walls and space theme:)

Before: Main floor bathroom was an avocado type green.
After: The bathroom is aqua!

Before: Master Bedroom. It was a light taupe color with  an American flag border.
After: Grey walls with one accent aqua wall behind our bed:)
We took the closet doors off and added this orange curtain because I had to my dresser in the closet.

This is the third room on the main floor. (The curtains are no longer in the middle of the floor). It is currently holding some of Elisha's old baby items in the closet and my Sis in law used it as a guest room when she stayed here last week. We are keeping the chartreuse color on the walls. We are hoping to eventually make this room a nursery in the future;)

Basement rec area.

Basement full bathroom and laundry room combo.

Office/craft space in the basement.
 Garage!
Ignore the box mess. I really like our big garage, but it still needs some organization!

Well, that concludes the tour of our new home! I still have some work to do especially in the basement in the garage, but so far I'm really enjoying the house and I'm having fun making it our home!
